Just wanted to run a poll to see how everyone found this site. You're welcome to also leave any comments about your experience as well!

I happened across one of the numerous references to Nicole Kidman's confession and, being the word-oriented person I am, it got me wondering what the name for the fear was.

So glad that it led me to find this place!

I just googled for butterfly phobia and i'm sure this forum came up within the first few listings.
i was talking to my step son about my phobia and he asked if it had a proper name, i'm sure i'd searched before, but being a total internet addict i took the opportunity to google for it again lol, just cos it drives him crazy how much i google for stuff

I just typed in "fear of dragonflies" in my browser (not expecting there to be anything) and was shocked to find this web site. Butterflies, moths, they are close enough! I always thought I was the only one. What a revelation!

I just wonder--are dragonfly phobics less common than buuterfly and moth phobics? Because there are not too many posts from other dragonfly phobes. Just wondering.

I was on Cracked.com, reading an article about strange phobias and they linked this site. I was like "What? There are others? Awesome!"
